Mount Fairview provides a terrific view of Mount Victoria, Victoria Glacier and Bow Valley. The ascent has been a popular addition to a favourite Lake Louise hike for decades. Adjacent Saddle Mountain (2434 m) can be ascended with minimal extra effort. If, while in Lake Louise, your time and energy are limited, this trip probably makes the best use of those precious resources. Try from mid-June on. |
