CIRQUE PEAK

: 2993m
Difficulty:
An easy ascent, largely hiking
Round Trip Time: 5-8 hours
Height Gain: 1050m
Map:  82 N/9 Hector Lake

Cirque Peak is a virtually foolproof ascent reached by a popular trail to classic alpine surroundings. There are no difficulties, and in fact, the ascent is sometimes done in winter. The views includes major nearby icefields and distant ranges, including Mount Assiniboine, almost 70 km away. Try from July on.
