AKAMINA RIDGE
Elevation: 2600m
Difficulty: Easy with one moderate step
Round Trip Time: 6+ hours to traverse
Height Gain: 1300 m
Map: 82 G/1 Sage Creek

A bit of bush, a little scrambling and oodles of pleasant ridge walking above tree line sum up this loop. The trip starts and ends in Alberta, but the finest portion crosses briefly into British Columbia. Impressive peaks in nearby Glacier Park, Montana, are your companions. Try this trip from late June on.
