Grew up in Fernie, spent way too much time working in Alberta’s bigger cities and learnt enough about that to realize that quality of life surrounded by good people and enjoying adventures together is what matters... And don't forget the family! I dabble in adventure sport and I’m not extraordinarily good at any of it. Striving for mediocrity!
Once upon a time I pursued a hobby career in guiding, took an excellent Mountain Skills Semester with Yamnuska, continued on to get IGA and ACMG Hiking Guide certs. Turns out the day job pays well enough to play and guiding would get in the way of getting out with friends. Now I've got just enough training to get into some real trouble!
